Maskun Kalustetalo Oy has completed sale and leaseback of Grade-A Logistics centre in Mäntsälä, Finland. The property is the main distribution centre of Maskun Kalustetalo Oy and it comprises an area of 19,700 square metres. The high-quality building was completed in December 2018 and it accommodates modern high storage facilities.
The buyer is a fund managed by NRP. The parties have agreed not to publish the transaction price.
“The selling of the distribution centre is in line with Masku’s strategy of not owning its properties. After negotiations, we found a buyer with whom we area happy to form a partnership as Masku will remain as a tenant in the property. The location and specifications of the property are excellent, which allowed us to sign a long-term lease agreement.” – Maskun Kalustetalo Oy, Hanna Kuronen, CEO
“The acquisition is in line with NRP’s strategy of acquiring modern logistics facilities on strategic locations with development potential for future tenant growth. Wilfast will be responsible for technical- and property management on NRP’s behalf.” - NRP, Knut Ekjord, Partner/Head of Real Estate
CBRE and Krogerus Attorneys advised the seller in the transaction and Borenius Attorneys acted on behalf of the buyer.
