Autumn Wrap-Up: CBRE has advised in 7 divestments after summer

CBRE has advised in seven separate divestments with a combined property value of in excess of €240 million in Finland after summer.

The underlying properties vary from core office and logistics to granular portfolios and care sector properties underpinning CBRE’s expertise across different property sectors. With the strong team of 10 professionals, CBRE has advised already in 14 investment transactions amounting to over €500 million this year.

The market remains stronger than ever and CBRE expects the total investment volume to achieve €7 billion during 2016. Out of the last seven transactions, in three occasions the buyer had not previously invested into Finland evidencing a growing appetite from new capital sources entering the market.

Sami Kiehelä, Head of Investment Properties Finland, comments

“We certainly see a growing demand from an ever widening buyer audience to enter our market. With good investment opportunities depleted elsewhere in Europe and Finland’s economy starting to look more positive, Finland qualifies as an attractive alternative for many investors. We are confident that we are very well positioned to continue utilising our strong CBRE platform to add value to our clients and drive business across the Nordics.”

Joni Koski, Managing Director, CBRE Finland adds

“Our investment transaction business has shown tremendous performance during the past couple of years. The key element of the recent success is the people we have. They are proud of what we do, and aspire to deliver superior service to our clients every day."
